They have the best players in baseball, the only thing they need to improve is their pitching. Ah hell lets not look at all time stats WORLD SERIES WON 1.Yankees - MAGIC NUMBER 26 2. Saint Louis - 10 I think the Yankees can afford going a few years without winning wouldn't you say? Never come with he bull crap that they haven't won a world series in a while, its not always the best team that wins, and it was proven when the Cardinals won since they were not the best team in MLB

Also the Red Sox are a very consistent team despite not making the playoffs every year, they are the first team since the yankees of the 90's to win more than 1 title in the same decade (so far). At the time the yankees had 22 titles. then they won in '96 '98 '99 '00 its gonna take a while for the canadiens to catch up now since they haven't won the cup since '93 lol..
